If your freight is not received in a timely manner, it will be determined abandoned and disposed of by the delivery carrier at their discretion and individual tariff rules. Commercial deliveries also assume locations are not considered limited access or require appointments, those areas do cost extra and will be charged to your credit card on file, that information needs to be stated up front before the freight is picked up so an accurate quote estimate can be provided before shipping. Please do not ask the driver to deliver inside your home, garage, or front door of a business, that service will incur an extra cost that will be charged back to your credit card on file and is very expensive. Residential deliveries are placed curbside via truck lift gate, the pallet will not be delivered inside your home or garage and are not included in the shipping price quote. Refusing the pallet upon delivery for any reason is prohibited, your pallet purchase is considered as-is and is not eligible for carrier freight damage claims. Once your item(s) have left our warehouse it is considered to be in your possession and Erkelens & Olson is not responsible for any damages that may occur in transit. If you have a zero spend history your items may be suject to a 7-10 day waiting period before your items ship. There will be a $25 handling fee for every pallet, that includes shrink wrapping and preparation (+ the cost of shipping). ** It is important that we are notified if the items are going to a residential or commercial address.** We will then prepare your items for shipment and communicate the shipping cost.
